Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube. These are the best platforms to get in touch with readers. My favorites are Instagram and Facebook. Imagine how many use Social Media Channels. Every blogger should use these media. My blog is my baby and social media will help networking. What makes a blog a very good blog? Good Content, design, updates, collaboration partners and good pictures. I think the most important thing is the connection to the readers. A well functioning community is worth more than SEO. And when I talk about a well functioning community I don’t mean the amount of readers. Some of you might know what I intend to tell you. Facebook groups – this is a great inspirations and help. There are tons of Facebook groups, but let’s be honest. How many do you really like? I wanted to recommend you good groups.

This is a Community for Low-Budget/Moneyless Travel. You also get loads of tips about living more sustainable on the road and at home. There are a lot of tips how to save money. If you plan a longer trip that has to cost less or if you want to change your lifestyle, than you’re right here.

There are a lot of travel bloggers in this group. If you have a question about a country – there will be a member that already went there. It’s cool that there are only bloggers. Most discussions are about techniques, blog or the Social Media Strategy, as well as SEO or WordPress.

This groups is great, if you have a lot of time for press trips. Here’s supply and demand – you can participate in press trips or you can take a look into the travel blogger list and find a matching partner.

This is a german speaking group for digital nomads, that earn their money online. Tips, deals, information about different countries and much more. I like the group because it’s only german speaking. It’s helpful for growing your blog. The bloggers share their experiences.

Especially for women on single trips

This is such a nice group. Only for the ladies. Sabrinas group is for sharing your worries and ideas, as much as success and loss. I always got a constructive and good answer.

Maybe you know the online magazine Travelettes. It’s one of the best travel blogs (Bloglovin on the 4th place with 156K followers). The group is similar to Girl vs. Globe but much bigger. There are 14.078 Members.

Travel & Videograpy

This is a global network of travellers, photographers, videographers and adventurers. If you need tips, tricks and ressources, send an application.

This is also a travel photography group. Here you will find good tips for the topic „Filming abroad with drones“. This group has 9522 members.

I’ve been in this group for some time now, but I never asked a question before. It’s all about taking videos, cutting, vlogging. There are a lot of youtubers and videographers. I’m reading their tips on iMovie, Final Cut Pro and so on.
