Banyan Tree Phuket – 5 Star Luxury Resort

So I returned, even if it was for a short time. „Thailand, my heart“ I thought, when the Banyan Tree Shuttle drove me from the airport Phuket into the lagoons. I was invited and I was allowed to stay for a long weekend at Banyan Tree Phuket – I was really looking forward to it. I really had to write about this magical 5-Star-Luxury-Hotel! So let’s go!

5 Star Luxury Resort in Phuket

Banyan Tree Phuket

» The Resort: An eye candy in Laguna Phuket

I was blown away. You know my fascination and love for Thailand. That our hotel is in the middle of Laguna Phuket was News to me! I was really excited and I was not disappointed! The Hotel as well as the whole facility is located in the the beautiful Laguna. The combination of palmtrees, ponds and the Andaman Lake was gigantic! My expectations were exceeded!

The main lobby of Banyan Tree Hotels is very central and right in front of 4 trees, which are the landmark of this luxurious resort. We were greeted in a typical thailandic manner – more than friendly and corteous. We were able to relax with a healthy shot, a cold towel and a fragrant flowercrown at 5am. Then we moved into our room. We drove around the hotel with a buggy so we learned how big the facility is.

» The Villa:  Signature Pool Villa

I moved into the wonderful Signature Pool Villa which had a bigger garden with a pool and a sala and is 270 m2 big. The Resort offers over 135 Villas. Each category is better and more exclusive! I listed all the roomtypes below. The villa is huge and and has a big lobby as well as a little wokring space, a sleeping – and living room, a wardrobe, bathroom (Indoor and Outdoor) as well as a garden with a 14 Meter long private Pool! You couldn’t wish for more. There is a huge flatscreen in the living room and the wifi works really good.

» The Resort:  SPA, Golfcourse, Fitness, Pool and the rest of the facility

As mentioned above this facility is really huge. There is a golfcourse (Laguna Phuket Golf Club – 1 x 18-Loch) as well as a Fitness Center, a yoga room, 3 Tenniscourts, 4 excellent specialties restaurants and an awesome Spa-Area, which invites you to dream an feel good. Apropos Spa. The Banyan Tree Spa Academy is also a training facility of all Banyan Tree Massagetherapists worldwide. I attached a map of the hotel, so that you can see what you can expect from this hotel. The Banyan Tree Phuket is really super versatile!! And I nearly forgot the gigantic pool area! Everything here is very big and you just can’t stop to be amazed.

» Food&Beverage:  The culinary offer

The food is wonderful. The breakfast and dinner are CRAZY. A great activity we had on our stay was a cooking course with the chef of the restaurant! It was really fun to cook a thai menu. Every guest can book this on his stay. To the food – there’s also the possibility of In-Villa-Dining and In-Villa-Barbeque as well as a Dinner-Cruise in a Longtail-Boat.

» The Beach:  beau-ti-ful

Yes what can I say, the beach was really beautiful and you can’t even describe it with words. I would have loved to jump into the ocean, but since it’s raining season in september, the sea is really agitated. Meterhigh waves break – it looks beautiful, but is not good for bathing. The beach looks beautiful on the pictures and I’m sure that you can spend wonderful hours there. I really hope, that this is not my last visit at the Banyan Tree, because you know, that I can’t let it go and I always hope to return. The impressions I got made me realize that the Banyan Tree is a great place for a luxurious holiday in Thailand!
