I discovered this hotel randomly. At first, we did not want to stay on Koh Phangan but instead  travel directly from Koh Samui to Koh Tao. But when I found the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan, I just had to show it to Manuel – it was love at first sight for him as well! That is why we decided to stay in the Panviman for 4 nights. Here is my detailed review with many many pictures from our dream vacation. Enjoy!

» The room: Deluxe Zimmer Grande

During our stay at the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan, we stayed at the Deluxe Grand Room with a whirlpool. Our villa could not have been prettier. I would have loved to stay there forever! Along the way to our villa on tuk tuk past all the other pretty houses, I was speechless. Even from the outside, the rooms looked amazing. After a short drive, we finally arrived at our own villa. And then we were seriously in awe! We could not believe how big and stunning our villa was! When entering the house, you step into a big entrance area with space for shoes, a wardrobe and enough space to store luggage. Right next to it is a separate bathroom.

Some of you might have seen my Snapchat story and the house tour that I posted. The bathroom was about 10-12 square metres large, so we could already imagine how big the rest of the house would be. The bedroom and the living room were separated through a one-metre gap with stairs. On the upper level,, there was the bedroom with a bed, table, safe, and wardrobe. On the lower level, we had a couch with table, stereo loudspeaker, flat screen and incredible view! The coast, the palms and the incredible blue sea – absolutely breathtaking! Ok now on to the best part: the bathroom! Oh my god I cannot even put into words how awesome the bathroom was. We had a super pretty staircase in our bedroom that led into the 20 square metre big bathroom! We had a huge rainforest shower, another toilet, two sinks and a whirlpool! I couldn’t believe it – a whirlpool for me alone! If you’ve been following me for a while you might know how much I love a good bathtub ♥

» The Breakfast: A special treat!

Actually we started to search for things to criticise but everything turned out to be perfect! The breakfast buffet was amazing as well! The buffet was so big, even though the hotel itself isn’t that big! You could literally get everything from veggies, to fruit, spreads, marmalade, various breads and sweet treats. There also was a part with various warm dishes: thai soups, curry, pad thai but also dishes like lasagne and spaghetti. There even was a rotisserie station! Oh my god, it could not have been better! After we chose our place at the terrace and someone asked me whether I would want some iced coffee, I felt like I went to heaven! So, we started each day with a full belly and a smile on my face. The breakfast buffet at the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan is definitely the best I have ever seen.

» The Resort: Pool, beach and the rest of the resort

The complete hotel area is incredibly pretty. It is built directly into a rock and planted with innumerable palm trees, bushes and flowers. Because the hotel is built into a rock it is very high up and one has to walk a long way to get down. However, the hotel also offers a 24-hour tuk tuk service within the resort. So do not worry about having to walk too much. There always is the possibility of calling the reception to ask for a ride and your ride will be there within 2-4 minutes.

When we walked through the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan, we also discovered a vegetable farm. That, however,  was under construction during our stay. Oh and for all you sport freaks out there, the resort even has a fitness center with outdoor space. And, of course, there also was a huge spa area! It was absolutely beautiful. Especially the view all over the ocean! There wasn’t a thing that we didn’t fall in love with at the resort. The pool was huge and features a whirlpool, a baby area and a waterfall. So incredibly beautiful.

The hotel beach area wasn’t that big but for the hotel guests it definitely was perfect since the hotel isn’t actually that crowded. There also was the possibility of strolling across a bridge that lead to a public beach, which was about one kilometre long! There also were various bars, restaurants and the possibility of walking along the beach in the evening.

» The Service: Flawless!

As I already mentioned above, the hotel was perfect! We felt extremely comfortable and were treated perfectly. After our arrival, we talked to the hotel manager for about an hour while drinking cold drinks. The girls at the reception were very friendly and we had a great time talking to the staff members every day. I absolutely have nothing to criticise! The people who work there obviously love their work and you can definitely tell! Oh and on our departure day we even got a lunch package to take away even though we had to leave very early! We got 4 packages with fruit, sandwiches, water, granola bars and a smoothie! Amazing, isn’t it? We definitely want to come back to this great hotel! It was just too perfect!
