Therme Laa – Hotel & Silent Spa

Hi Guys! I still need to tell you about our great Spa-Holiday in the thermal bath Laa. We spend a wonderful weekend at the thermal bath Laa and the Silent Spa and oviously we took tons of great pictures. I wanted to write a nice blogpost for you. What I can tell you beforehand – it was by far the most beautiful thermal bath I’ve ever been too!

Those who know me longer now will ask themselves „Huho? What’s with her former favorite thermal bath?“ Before visiting the thermal bath Laa I was a big fan of the styrian thermal baths – especially in Loipersdorf. Why? Because I visited there each year for a couple of days with my family. I also learned swimming there. This is what I memorized. All the great moments I had there when I wasn’t 1m80 yet.

Now I have different wishes and I was searching for a thermal bath to relax in silence. A wonderful hotel with a breakfast buffet, breathtaking dinner and Spa Spa Spa Spa. That’s what I found at the thermal bath Therme Laa. But now one step after another.

Many thanks to the team of the Therme Laa an der Thaya for the invitation & the incredibly relaxed time and the amazing food! The opinion which I represent is of course 100% my own.

The Location & Access LAA AN DER THAYA

The Location was a huge plus for us! It’s only a 50 minutes drive from Vienna to Laa at the river Thaya. From my home it’s around 1 hour and 25 Minutes, which is absolutely ok. It’s about 2 hours to Styria, which is why we found it wonderful to get to know a thermal bath which is nearby.

Hotel and Room
THERMENHOTEL

From the moment I arrived I was blown away by the entrance hall of the therme hotel. Maybe you’ve seen it on my super long Instagram Story – I was really thrilled by the great furnishing and the color concept. I liked the bar and the fireplace most. Just take a look at the pictures below.

The rooms are really clean, spacious and modern. Everything you need for a cozy therme holiday. A modern, bright little bathroom, a bathtub (yes this is what you need after all the swimming!), a mega cozy and big bed, tv, terrace and storage. We didn’t miss anything :-)

In-House Spa
A SMALL
DISADVANTAGE

Oh god – the pool of this hotel was so beautiful! When we arrived at the pool, there were very few people and I would have loved to jump into the pool. I instantly fell in love with the bright room and the stainless steel pool – but unfortunately – me as a bathtub fan had to get into the pool at the stairs just like a grandma because It was too cold for me. My boyfriend liked the temperature though. But that’s just a personal preference – 36 degrees are my absolute minimum for the water in a thermal bath. I’d even prefer 38 degrees, but what I like most is the whirlpool and the bathtub *gg*

Breakfast & Restaurant
SIMPLY UNBEATABLE

Okey and our friends were right. The breakfastbuffet is really awesome! There is nothing greater then a wonderful big breakfast buffet, which won’t leave any wishes unfulfilled. To every brunch- and breakfastfan – off to the thermal bath Laa. You won’t regret it. I had fluffy waffles, whole grain baked goods, fresh honey (from a honeycomb), nutella, fish and and and. Manuel was blown away as well and he even had Porridge.

The dinner blew us away as well. When I took a look at the menu and I saw spaghetti AND onion soup, I was really happy. The rest of the menu was a delight as well. Those who don’t like the food are way too critical for this world. The starters buffet was also very wide ranged.
