Instagram latest 05/2017 | #chicchooleetravels

Good morning Lovelies! And again – another month is over, which means it’s the time to write another Instagram latest article. I wasn’t traveling this month. The holiday that I planned in the beginning of May – had to be cancelled because of the bad weather and the onset of winter in the mountains. It was planned to go hike in the mountains. It would have been possible to go there, but then we would have to bring snowshoes and ski suits. That was too annoying to us, because our car already has summer tires on. That’s why we cancelled the trip.

I also had to cancel the trip to Greece which I planned for the end of May because of some private problems. Obviously we’re sad, but I think we will make up for this trip. The month at home is not that bad though, because I have a lot to catch up and I had to do my taxes. Additionally I didn’t have so much time to post on this blog. When you’re travelling a lot, it doesn’t work so well – for me at least. I prefer to take some time for my blogposts and do some research. That’s why I don’t like to do this in the plane or in a hotel bedroom. I hope you don’t mind.

So back to the topic – since I wasn’t travelling a lot, I can’t show you new pictures from another beautiful destination, but I still have a lot of pictures from Morocco left as well as some pictures from events and shootings. I hope you still like the pictures. Aw, and the stupid Instagram Algorithm is still annoying me. It’s really frustrating, that my followers don’t really see my pictures. That I’m posting and posting and nothign comes back! Why did Facebook destroy Instagram like this? This blogpost describes it very well and should be shared – maybe something will change. Because it’s not funny like this.

  • Picture 1 – Memories for your life

The greatest thing about travelling, is not the „fleeing from home“, but to „be welcomed into another home“ feeling. The many people you meet, get to know with whom you can laugh at the end of the day. While on our trip through Morocco we got to know there two young men and we really got attached to them. Those two brothers came to us, when we took pictures. Safwah, the man on the right speaks german very well and always had a funny thing to say – that’s how he got us in his shop. It felt like we talked an eternity. We were offered some minttea and a stool and together with his brother Zarif we talked about war and hatred of the human kind. „You know“ he said „a lot of people are rich and have everything, but they’re poor at heart. I don’t have much. I live in a little hut made of straw. You’re both welcome! But I’m full of love. My heart is happy!“ he said and smiled brightly. I had to hold myself together because these words were so moving that I got goosebumps and nearly cried, although it was so warm outside. In the end, we bought a beautiful pendant of them – a hand of Fatima, Symbol of protection against all evil. The amulett will give me strenght, luck and blessings, which were his words. I was supposed to wear it near my heart and think of the days here. And I will. Forever ♥

  • Picture 2 – New Motivation – let’s Workout

Unbelievable, but true. I set a goal to do more sports this summer. I’m trying this each year again and again but I keep falling back to my old self. That’s why I’m doing sports 20-30 Minutes everyday now – this is better for me then more than one hour. I hope that I’ll keep this up this summer.

  • Picture 3 – Fresh and Fruity

There’s nothing better than fresh fruits and veggies directly from the farmer. That’s one of the things I like about living in this country. We have a huge garden and we grow our fruits and veggies alone, we also have big orchards and produce our own juices, marmelades and more. All this tastes much better than the products from the supermarket. You pay more, but it’s worth it!

  • Picture 4 – Unforgettable Sunsets

One of the beautiful rituals we had in Morocco every day – watching the sunset. The sunset at the sea is already beautiful, but a magical red sunset over the city of Marrakesh or in the middle of the Atlasgebirge is also really unique. Especially when you can see and hear the people send their prayers. I’m still getting goosbumps!

  • Picture 5 – Butterflyhouse Vienna

Another great Highlight – I visited the Butterflyhouse in Vienna. The reason was my cooperation with Huawei in which I was allowed to test the new P10 Smartphone with the unbelievable Monochrom Camera. While at the workshop we took wonderful pictures at the Butterflyhouse and I can only tell you– the P10 is really great! This camera really convinced – but well I’m a fanatic Leica Fan.
