It’s incredible how fast time goes by. The year is slowly coming to an end and I thought I’ll tell you about my last 10 months now. Because 10 months ago I switched my blog theme from fashion to travelling. I changed my layout, rewrote my old posts and put a lot of effort into the transition. But thank God you all – my lovely readers – were also really happy and encouraging about the change.

Even today, I still get a lot of emails, comments and messages concerning my blog. My layout is unique, my blog beautiful and authentic, and you find my posts very informative. Of course, I am very happy about this because at the beginning I was really afraid. Afraid that you would not like the transition and that I would lose you as readers.

Yes, there was a big downfall. Many readers left me and I was depressed. Fashion seems to be much more interesting than my long travel posts. But with time I got new followers. And today I know that it was the right decision! And now I have to say thank you! Thank you for your loyalty! For the lovely comments, the clicks on my blog and your amazing feedback. Without you this wouldn’t be possible!!

» My beginning:  Surprisingly everything went well

I started my transition at the beginning of 2015. That means, not that long ago. And all I wanted was to inspire you. Tell you amazing stories from the big wide world. Showing you that you can explore this word even if you’re not rich. I put all my energy, my time and all my commitment into this project and worked very hard. Day and night – nothing could stop me! I simply wanted to share my travel experiences with my family, my friends and, of course, you my lovely readers. Of course, my stats could be better. But I guess that applies for everyone – we always want more and more. But I am rather happy with the outcome and so grateful for all the trips I was able to take in the last 10 months. Since April I have been on the road at least once each month!!

» Growing community: When others make you happy

Never in my life did I think that someone would call me an inspiration. That I could evoke so many emotions with my articles. I am always so happy to read from you because that shows me that I am doing the right thing and that this niche is the perfect fit for me. ♥♥  I really hope that my little online family will continue growing and that I can inspire more of you each day.

» The Best: is yet to come! Travel planning for 2016

I already scheduled two trips for the New Year. Two, or rather four, more trips are already in development. So, I do not want to spoil anything yet. I don’t want to disappoint you by promising great trips and not going in the end. Thailand in January and Santorini in May are already planned and I cannot wait to travel there. I already fell in love with Thailand last year and it kind of is the reason for my travel blog. And Santorin, you know: white houses, incredible hills, red and black beaches, top-tier kitchens and delicious wine. I’m so excited!!
