Silent Spa – Therme Laa an der Thaya

Tada! After waiting for long, it’s finally here. The first part of my Spa Weekend in Laa at the Thaya. Today I want to tell you about the beautiful, new Premium Day SPA – Silent Spa. I already showed you the Silent SPA on Instagram and Facebook and naturally this wonderful oasis of silence was pretty popular, which is why I wanted to publish a blogpost with tons of pictures.

The reason for our visit was the opening of the new Premium Day Spa – Silent SPA. And what am I supposed to say – it’s rare that I’m so thrilled by an oasis of silence/temple of senses like I was by this wonderful place. Everyone who likes Game of Thrones, Science-Fiction and Sakralbau will love it! So step into this temple of sences. There will be another post about the hotel as well!

MODERN OASIS OF SILENCE meets DIGITAL SERVICECONCEPT

Before our trip to the Silent SPA we informed ourselves at home and we were blown away by the great digital service concept. You can book your own daybed from home and when you’re at the SPA you can use their tablet as well as Sony Earphones to surf online – online shopping, listening to music, reading or watching movies. Thanks to the Silent Spa, I now own new earphones as well, because I just had to buy them after using them at the SPA. I can only recommend them.

Many thanks to the team of the Silent SPA for the invitation & the incredibly relaxed time! The opinion which I represent is of course 100% my own.

INSPIRING WATERLANDSCAPE and HIGH COMFORT

The waterlandscape might not be the biggest, but it’s unique and also really beautiful and welcoming. Additional to the saline pool (outside) there is a pool around a cascade well and a pool with pillars, which I liked most here. This pool is connected to the little pool outside. The Silent SPA is for guests from the age 16 upwards.

I have to say that this unique design made me let my thoughts run free and to relax. To my delight the water temperature was really good. One degree more wouldn’t be bad, but all in all I was really content. I have to admit that I was able to charge my batteries very well and although the pools weren’t really big I spend most of the time in the water and not on my daybed.

PRICES and OPENING HOURS

The entrance fee to the Silent SPA varies between 35 and 95 Euro – depending on the day you visit (the weekend costs more) or if you stay in the hotel as well. Towels (you can use as many as you want), bathrobes, FlipFlops, Daybeds, Snacks & Drinks as well as an afternoon cake, iPads and earphones are included in the price. The Spa is opened from 09:00am to 8pm.
