A champagne holiday on a beer budget. And this all in London. How’s that possible? Manuel and I tested the new Tune Hotel in London, Canary Wharf.
My Instagram followers know that I’ve been to London last week. Today I want to tell you about our hotel. A lot of my followers think I only stay at 5 star hotels, which is not true, because I’m really a modest person. I’m also happy with a small hotel room.
About 2 months ago, I was been asked if I wanted to test the Tune Hotel in London, Canary Wharf with the main topic „a champagne holiday on a beer budget“. Usually London is really expensive. That’s why the hotel only offers you what’s really needed. A bed, a shower, airconditioning, wifi and a TV. You can also book a room without Wifi or TV if you want to save money.
With the metro until Bow Road. Than you have to walk to the DLR Station (Docklands Light Railway) Bow Church. Take this one until West India Quay DLR Station. From there pass the restaurant promenade and the dock. At the first intersection it’s the first hotel on the left side.

The room we slept in was tiny, but useful. The bed was comfy and the shower great. It was good for those two nights and we were only there for sleeping anyway. It wasn’t a problem either that there was no breakfast. If you want to do a city trip this hotel is very recommendable. It’s clean and quiet. There are 8 Tune Hotels in London, 13 in Malaysia, 9 in Indonesia, 8 in the Philippines, 4 in Thailand and one in India, Japan and Australia each. They are planning on expanding in Europa, Africa and the middle east. I think this shows that they have success.
