Hotel Review: A Wellness Weekend in the Design Hotel Wiesergut

Well, I don’t know where to begin. I already showed you some insights into this amazing hotel via Instagram. The Hotel in Saalbach-Hinterglemm is great and worth a visit. It was founded in 2012 and has 24 Suits. You shouldn’t underestimate Austria! As you can see, we also have great Hotels and the Wiesergut is really special and one of these great hotels! The architecture and the interior are just amazing. #futurehouse

We were greeted very nicely. Our car was parked by the valet and our luggage was brought up to our suite. We were handed hot towels to refresh our face, some herb tea to drink and fresh bread with homemade butter and chives. The owners put a lot of effort into everything. I truly loved our room, the hotel uses earth materials like wood, stone and linen. Our Suite had a balcony as well. The view was just breathtaking.

Not only was establishment great, but so was the service! The breakfast is served á la carte – you will get orange juice, bread and butter, jam, fruit and sausage. You can also order omelette, poached egg, and whatever you want. They will also offer you a new smoothie flavor every day or another kind of cereal. When you’re at dinner, you can choose between three menus and the classics. The head chef Matthias Schütz and his team is doing a great job. Homemade, regional and fresh food is just the best.

The spa area consisted of a pool, sauna, and a relaxation room. It’s open 24 hours a day. Furthermore, we got an 90 Minute spa Session in the private area with a great view overlooking mountains of Glemmtal! O-M-G! The massage was heavenly – I love the smell of the arolla pine oil. I know, I sound like I’m in love – but this hotel is really unique and they think of everything, even the little details. The white tulips fitting the walls, the grey dirndl dresses from the waitstaff, the showering lotion, the garbage bins..  everything matches. So thank you very much for that great stay, Wiesergut Team! I will never forget those two days.
