Hi guys! There’s a new Office Update. I’m still waiting on my Westwing order. But my new printer came this week! My old one broke and I couldn’t print invoices or other documents. Now I’m happy to have my new all-in-one Printer. You can read about it below. As mentioned in my first #chicchooleeoffice post, I wanted to give you an update. There’s not much new, but since the printer is here now, I had to refurnish everything. My side table will come soon but it’s okay for the moment. It’s important for me to work in a quiet and clean environment. That’s why I’m happy that my desk is smaller. And since I like redecorating, I’m happy that my desk changes step by step. So, I always have the chance to reorganise. I love it! Now I’ll tell you about my all-time-favorite Office Gadgets and my new printer.

My most important Home Office Gadgets

Laptop. I prefer working on my laptop in my new office. If you’re using the iMac, you will be distracted. But since I’m only using my laptop while traveling, I keep it clean from a lot of data and I save the data on a flash drive. I can work in a more focus manner like this without all the documents.

Tip: To be able to use all my data on the go, I got myself a Dropbox account with my important documents that I might need on my trips, so that I don’t have to put it on my flashdrive. A Dropbox Account is free up to 2GB.

Flashdrive. A gadget you can’t miss is my flashdrive (I own more than one.) I can’t tell you how often I read on Facebook or somewhere else that someone lost all their data. Sorry, but this is a no-go! My blog is my baby and business. All the documents are important to me. That’s why I always save my data.

Card-reader / USB Adapter. I use this gadget often to use my SD-cards on my laptop. It’s great when traveling. I use the stick with my Mac Notebook and I can’t complain. It’s always easy to transfer data.This gadget supports SD Cards and microSDXC Cards.

HP DeskJet 3720 All-in-One-Printer. Finally my new printer! I’m so happy to throw away my old printer. In the last few weeks, I had to print my documents at work because my printer was defective. Thank you HP for providing this printer to me. The printer is a great all-in-one device with printer, scanner and copier. It’s also the tiniest all-in-one printer!

Another function of the DeskJet 3720: you can print documents and pictures via wifi from your  smartphone and tablet. With the cool HP Snapshots App, you can also print social Media snapshots from Instagram, Facebook, and Flickr. As you can see from my pictures, I already printed some pictures and put them on my wall. I want to print many more pictures!

What you should not forget when blogging, is that despite all the great trips and pictures, a lot of work will wait at home. Office stuff, taxes, bills and so on. This has to be done as well and if you want a functioning home office, a printer can’t be missed. When I began blogging, I learned how important it is to have the right equipment – like the devices I listed above. You also need a camera with good lenses, a calendar, an e-mail account and a smartphone. I should get accustomed to putting everything into a folder – invoices and briefing documents.
