Some of you might have seen on my Social Media that I’ve been to the Hilton Hotel Vienna Plaza with my boyfriend last weekend. After being renovated the hotel was reopened in 2014. The main colour is gold, which makes the whole ambience very noble. The Hotel is influenced by Art Deco Elements and designed in the twenties style. The colouraccents in the lobby are black, white and gold – I didn’t like it that much. Our room was designed with green and blue accents which I liked better, but this is just to taste. Everything was very welcoming and bright. The hotel is in the center of Vienna at the famous ring road and it is easily reached with public transport.

» The Room: Penthouse Corner Suite

When we checked In, the receptionist told us that we’re in the 10th floor in the Penthouse in a Corner Suite. I was very excited to take the elevator to the upper floor. Our expectations were exceeded. The first impression of the suite and the balcony was wonderful.

The Suite has a huge Living Room with a comfortable couch, armchair, a cabinet and a lot of storage space. The Room was modern and tastefully designed. And there’s a big mirror (wuhu Selfies). I wouldn’t be able to take so many clothes with me to fill all the drawers.

In the bedroom there’s also enough storage space, another cabinet, as well as a nightstand, a desk and a sideboard. The canopy bed was the highlight of the room. I slept very well in it. The bed looks really comfy in the pictures right? I was surprised with a cute cake on my desk. We ate the cake before Breakfast. Yummi! When I’m in a hotel I can be very strict about it’s cleanness, but it was perfect here.

The balcony was a dream and thank god for the wonderful weather! I put on my bikini and we enjoyed every sunray and the view. Relaxation – I can say! The bathroom was equipped with a tub AND a shower. I preferred the tub!:-)

» The Breakfast: Brasserie, ÉMILE

We had dinner and breakfast in the Bar & Brasserie Émile. I blog about the restaurant seperately in the next days. If you book a Executive Room or higher in the Hilton Vienna Plaza you can either have breakfast in the Bar & Brasserie Émile or in the second floor in a separate Breakfastsroom. We also tried the breakfast in the Executive Lounge and once in the Bar & Brasserie Émile. It’s quieter in the second floor. You’ll only meet about 2-5 people. The bar is very full and it’s louder. The selection in the upper floor is rather little so we preferred the bar.

» The Service: thoughtful & helpful

We were looked after very well. You notice the love of detail everywhere. The Hilton Vienna Plaza seems like a little Boutiquehotel, not like a classic Hilton Hotel. The employees greet you by your name but you still have your privacy. If you’re on a citytrip to Vienna, I can recommend this Hotel to you. I enjoyed the days in Vienna and I can’t believe that I was at home. Beauty is so near!
