There are a lot of old pictures on my smart phone that I didn’t post yet. That’s why I want to show you a couple of pictures from my last holidays. The space on my phone is nearly full and I have to delete the pictures on my phone. I’m posting on Instagram already when I’m on the go. That’s why I’d be happy if you’d follow me on my trips!
It’s a shame that because of new technologies you tend to forget beautiful pictures and memories. Back in the days my mum took her time and put much love into a photo album. Since there are digital cameras, this changed. You take more pictures, you don’t throw anything away or print it. What do you think? Do you use photobooks? The ones you can print at DM & Co.? I’ve never tried it, but everytime I put pictures on my computer, I’m sad if I don’t see the pictures for a long time.
Even worse, you forget to take out the pictures to look at them. Just like you did back in the old days. Sometimes I scroll through my Instagram Feed and I look at the old pictures. I look forward to your comments. I already thought about printing some pictures to hang them on my wall.

Picture 1 – Santorini View
Do you know that feeling when you’re not in the mood to take a picture? You keep trying and you don’t like any of the pictures? I felt like this when we wanted to take this picture. I was moody and not feeling photogenic, so the perfect picture took long enough. Then, this picture came up. I love this picture so much that it became my Instagram profile picture. Those already following me for a long time on Instagram know that I’ve only changed it once.
Picture 2 – Blue Lagoon Thailand
When I found this picture on my computer, I couldn’t believe that I took this picture. I was so fascinated and it was like I saw the picture for the first time. Maybe I looked at this picture after the trip and felt that it wasn’t good enough to post on Instagram. When I found this a couple of days ago, I felt different. I also posted it into a travel photography group and everyone liked it. “The picture looks like a painting“ is one of the greatest comments I got.
Picture 3 – Mallorca
Unbelievable, but true – I took this picture in Mallorca. Can you remember my Mallorca blog posts from last week? This picture was taken on our bicycle tour. My first thought: Oh how beautiful – white and blue like in Santorini. Honestly, Santorini impressed me much more with all the white buildings and the details, but this picture was worth it.
Picture 4 – Bangkok
This is a picture that I really like and it also has a story behind it. I uploaded the picture on March 21st. So, it’s been some time. The caption was very special and I told you how wonderful it was for Manuel and me to explore the world and that I was nominated for the Travel Blogger Award 2016. Thanks to your support, I earned first place. Thanks a lot!
Picture 5 – Santorini
This was the first picture I took in Santorini where you can see me and the landscape. I can’t describe how wonderful it was just to sit on the stairs and look at the ocean. Watching the sailing boats and the sun. Doing nothing at the beach is one of my favorite activities :-)
