Tarte Flambée

Mmmh! I’m drooling over these pictures. I really love tartes. You can use the dough in so many variations. The classic tarte flambée looks as shown here, but it doesn’t have to savory. You can also use berries and it’s still yummy. I got the recipe for the dough from Dina – an Instagram friend. Thank you very much, it was really yummy! Have fun trying the recipe as well. You can find more recipes HERE

375 g flour
190 ml lukewarm water
15 g yeast
1,5 tsp. salt
3 tbsp oil

Info: preheat your oven to 240° Celsius.

½ cup of sour cream
chives
1 red onion
1 green pepper
Prosciutto
Pepper

1. Sieve the flour and mix in the salt, dilute the yeast in the lukewarm water and mix in the salt-flour mixture as well as the oil. Knead it until the dough forms and put it into a bowl to rest in a warm place for an hour. The dough should have doubled in size by now. Roll out the dough.

2. Peel the red onion, cut it into half and then into slices. Cut the pepper into tiny pieces and the prosciutto into stripes. Chop up the chives and mix with half a cup of cream. Distribute the mixture on your dough and begin to top it with the onions, pepper and prosciutto. Spice it up with some pepper and bake it for 8-10 Minutes in the oven.
