A lot of you asked for a post like this. Where can someone go on a solo trip? I searched for stats in the internet and gathered 3 safe destinations.

Although Iceland looks intimidating because of all the fire, water, ice and air conditions, it’s number 1 of the safest destinations for solo travelling. The crime rate in Iceland is really low. The only danger might be sheep on the street. The people are friendly, nice and helpful.

Bern, Genf or Zürich belong to the safest cities worldwide. The crime rate here is low as well. And Switzerland is really close, so the flights are not so expensive. I loved Zurich. Switzerland is number 5 on the Global Peace Index.

The third destination is my home. It’s not only safe, it’s wonderful as well. You can go hiking, swimming, skiing or snowboarding. I’m happy that I grew up here. Austria is number 3 on the Global Peace Index, while Germany is number 16, Finland nb. 6. Only Denmark and Iceland are rated safer.
